Nancy Nicolosi is a long-time Tucsonan, and has been a prominent figure in Arizona property management for over 20 years. In 2005, Nancy and partner Kim Fitch purchased Schomac Property Management, Inc. (SPM, Inc.) and transformed it into Nicolosi & Fitch, Inc.

Kim was raised and schooled in Ohio. She moved to Tucson in 1981 and has worked in the property management industry since 1984. In addition to her multifamily housing expertise, Kim also has experience in office, retail, industrial and homeowner association management.  She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management and was voted Southern Arizona's CPM of the Year in 1997.

Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) and a certified Tax Credit Compliance Professional (C5P) for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program. She has been an instructor and grader for the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) Program offered through the National Apartment Association (NAA) since 1987, and was a regional VP of NAA from 1998-2002.

 

Nancy's love of Tucson and concern for her community has shown itself in many ways over the years. She was invited to serve on the Governor's Task Force on Homelessness in Arizona in 2004, and served on the City of Tucson's Slumlord Task Force from 1999-2000. She received a Mayoral Appointment to the Tucson Metropolitan Housing Commission in 2002, and was elected to Chair the Housing Commission in 2005.

 

Kim's interest in the quality of life in Tucson goes beyond her profession. She has served on the Board of Directors for the League of Women Voters of Tucson and the Tucson/Pima County Women's Commission.

 

She was the 2003 President of the Tucson IREM Chapter, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Multihousing Association. She is also Treasurer of Cross Middle School's Parent-Teacher Organization and served for several years on the Amphitheatre School District's Superintendent's Council.

 

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English Education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
